a used 1960's era Plainfield Machine Company / Plainfield Ordnance commercial 18" M1 Carbine chambered in 30 Carbine with 1x 15 round metal magazine. This is a postwar American made carbine for the civilian market, and as such some of the markings and parts are not the ones found on original US Military M1 Carbines. The wooden stock and handguard are in good shape and have some dents and scratches from use.
