Selling this sporterized Springfield Krag. I am not sure of the year or exact model, but most likely an 1898 (not that it matters since its been sporterized.

The barrel does not look to have been cut, but the rear sight has been removed. The gun is in a sporter stock that is real solid. The metal looks to be in good condition, some speckling and patina, and some places that look real nice (have probably been refinished).

Will come with an S&K no-drill scope mount, which is usually about $125-150. This one looks to have 1 inch rings, and will come with an old Bushnell 4x wide view scope.

This will make a great vintage hunting rifle. I have not checked the serial #s but there is a change the gun is a pre-98 antique as well.
